Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth

Have you heard of the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth? Greg Heffly is the main character. He lost his best friend Rowley Jefferson in a fight over summer vacation. Greg is in middle school and his Uncle Gary is getting married for the third time. His mom is so annoyed about the marriage that she taped the new wife’s picture over the old one. Will Greg get his best friend back before school starts? You will have to read the book to find out.

I liked this book because I thought it was very funny. His Uncle Gary never grows up and acts like a kid. He enjoys riding bumper cars. My favorite part of the story was when Rowley scribbled on his egg for health class. This book reminded me of the other Diary of a Wimpy Kid books because of all the funny things the characters do. Greg wants to be rich when he grows up and so do I.

I would recommend this book to readers who like the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and like to laugh out loud.
