The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig

The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig is a fractured fairy tale written by Eugene Trivizas. Once upon a time there were three little pigs and they moved into a new place. The wolves kept building different houses. The pig kept knocking down the wolves’ houses. When the pig got to the last house, the one made of flowers, he tried huffing and puffing. Instead of knocking it down, he started sniffing the flowers and realized how terrible he was being and he became a good pig. Then the wolves and the pig became friends.

I liked this story because it has details. I liked when the pig kept knocking down the homes because he used different things, like a jackhammer. The pig changed from bad to good in this story when he started smelling the flower house. It is like the Three Little Pigs because the same kinds of things happen, but in this story, the mean pig becomes nice.

I think this is a great story for kids ages 5-8 because they would think the ending is good. I think anyone who likes happy endings will also like this book.
