Guardians of Ga'Hoole

This story is about an owl named Soren and his friends, Gylfie, Twilight, and Digger. Soren lives in the forest kingdom of Tyto. One day when Soren’s parents go out to hunt, Soren falls out of his nest and is snatched and taken to the evil St. Aggies. While at St. Aggies Canyon, Soren meets Gylfie and they discover that the owls in charge there are trying to moon blink all the owlets there. When Soren becomes a broody and Gylfie becomes a moss tender, Soren asks if he can help his friend and he and Gylfie go to another owl that is a broody and figure out she is pretending to be moon blinked too. When they escape they meet Twilight, was snatched too but escapes before he gets to St. Aggies. When they are traveling to the great Ga’hoole tree they meet up with Digger. Digger’s brother got eaten by the two lieutenants, Jatt and Jutt. When they try to attack Digger in the desert, Soren, Twilight, and Gylfie attack them. Then all of a sudden two eagles come in and kill Jatt and Jutt.

My favorite part of the story is when Soren and Gylfie escape from St. Aggies because it is the first time they ever flew. I think this is a good book because it is full of adventure, it has some unexpected turns in it, it is also has a lot of action in it. I always wanted to keep reading it, and the author is very descriptive.

I recommend this book to anybody 10 and older
