This book is about a boy named Max. Max does bad things to his mommy, and he gets in trouble. So he make believes about Wild Things that are far away.
We liked this book because Max has fun with the Wild Things. Our favorite part was when Max got to be king by staring into their eyes. He was also bossy and meaner than the Wild Things. But we also found out that Max should be nice to his Mommy because she loves him.
We think other kids will like this book. The wild rumpus is very funny because they swing on vines. The pictures are sort of scary because the Wild Things have scary parts like eyes, claws, and teeth, but they are colorful too.
