One day at lunch, a boy named William made a bet with a bully named Joey. The bet was that he will win the costume contest. At the science fair, all of the red paint exploded over every body from a volcano. The costumes were covered with paint. They went to the costume contest anyway. Did they win or did they loose? The story took place in the school.
I liked the book. It was exciting because I did not know who would win. I think people should read this book because it was full of suspense and you don't know who wins until the end. I didn't like the pictures because they were in black and white.
