The Rose in my Garden

This book is about different types of flowers that are growing in the garden like a Rose, Hollyhocks, Marigolds, Zinnias, Daisies, Bluebells, Lilies, Peonies, Pansies, Tulips and Sunflowers. There also was a cat and a mouse and a bee the bee was resting on a flower and then the cat was chasing the mouse that by accident the cat bumped into the flower the bee was resting on and the bee was very angry so the bee stung the cat and got many stitches and learned to never disturb a bee while its resting on a flower.

I think the cat learned a lesson and an important one, to not sneak up on a bee. If you sneak up on a bee you could get stung and maybe die of the sting. I liked this book because I really like flowers. It was sort of boring because it was just talking about flowers and then about a mouse, cat, and bee.

I recommend this book “The Rose in My Garden” because if your someone that really likes flowers then I think you should get this book because it has so many different types of flowers like a rose or a hollyhocks and there’s also many more flowers! If you don’t like flowers then maybe if you read this book 2 or 3 times then I bet you that you will be interested about flowers and want to learn more about flowers!
