The book is about a boy named Antonio who wants the same shoes as everybody else. Everyone in his classroom laughs at him because his shoes break and he was wearing on ducky shoes. So the next day he starts saving up to buy the same shoes but when he buys it he gives it to his friend instead.
My opinion is that he shouldn't have wasted his money on those shoes he's wearing because he still has shoes on his feet. It was stupid. I think it was nice that he gave it to his friend at the end of the story.
I recommend this book to people who think their shoes are ugly and want to buy shoes that everyone has. They do not need what everybody has at least they have shoes. They will learn from this book that your not gonna really need them.
