The X-ed-Out X-Ray (A Stepping Stone Book)

This is a book about 3 kids named Ruth Rose, Josh, and Dink. Ruth Rose wins 3 tickets to a concert. When they get there they find their seats and wait for the concert to start. Soon the concert begins. Everyone stands up and starts to clap. At the intermission, Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose get hotdogs and they go on a merry-go-round. Dink hears screaming and accidently falls off the merry-go-round. Dink gets hurt. Ruth Rose gets her dad. On the way to the first aid tent, Ruth Rose's dad tells the kids what all the screaming was about. The singer's necklace was stolen. Dink also has to get a cast because he broke his arm. Later on Dink returns to the Doctor to have his cast x-rayed. Then the doctor x's the x-ray out and takes the cast off, and then takes another x-ray. Dink asks if he can have the x-ed-out x-ray from the doctor. Dink holds the x-ray up to the window. The x-ray has something on it. They look at the newspaper. They hold it up to the x-ray. The x-ray has the same picture as the necklace in the newspaper. I don't want to tell you the rest because then I would be revealing the secret. Read this book to find out.
When I read this book I thought that Josh is someone who always eats. He reminds me of my self because I never want to stop eating. I also like this book because it is part of a series, and in each book there is a mystery you have to figure out. My favorite part was when Ruth Rose says to Josh, "Josh, I will buy you a hotdog if you dress up as a penguin."
I recommend this book to people who like mysteries. I think Ron Roy is a great writer because he brings joy into his characters. Anyone who likes A to Z Mysteries should read this book. When I first started reading it I thought something bad was going to happen.
