Are you ready for me to tell you about an amazing book that I just read? In the beginning, Beth was waiting for her aunt on the living room sofa. Her aunt, Aunt Evelyn was picking her up to spend the summer. Beth was worried. She thought her aunt was color-blind. Aunt Evelyn's house was different colors, her wagon was an unusual color, and her clothes did not match. From the look on Aunt Evelyn's face, Beth could tell that she was nervous. When Beth got to her aunt's house, and sat down to have some root beer, with her aunt, Aunt Evelyn told Beth that she was a marigold fairy! Beth was shocked! Aunt Evelyn taught Beth how to fly after she taught her how to turn into a fairy. Right after that, her aunt gave her The First Fairy Handbook. "This will show you everything you need to know". said Aunt Evelyn. Tomorrow we will go somewhere fun. Will Beth continue to be a fairy with her aunt, or will she realize that it is very unusual?

I enjoyed reading this book because it surprises me. The first reason is Beth is a fairy. In real life, no people are fairies. The second reason this book surprises me is because in this book gremlins are scared of Dachshunds, which is a kind of dog. I never read a book when a kind of monster is scared of a kind of dog. The third reason is that they have a mission to rescue a feather. It surprised me because a feather is not that important. I really enjoyed reading this book because, Beth is a fairy, gremlins are scared of Dachshunds, and they have a mission to rescue a feather.

I recommend this book to people who are girls. One reason is that all main characters are girls, except for Peanut and the Brownies. The second reason is that all the girls are fairies. The third reason is that they have a mission to rescue a feather instead of something boyish like a sword. I recommend this book to girls because, there is a lot of girls, all the girls are fairies, and they have a mission to rescue a feather. If you're a girl read this book!
