In the fictional tale, the Jester, who was paid to make everybody happy, lost his touch. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn?t make people laugh. The grumpy king fired him. The Jester and his stick Pharley traveled all over the world trying to find laughter and happiness. A child in a hospital helped the Jester teach an important lesson.
I think this story is good for all readers because it helps you learn that laughter is hiding inside of you. The author decided to make this story because he knew he was going to die. He wrote the story and drew all of the colorful pictures.
My favorite part was when the Jester was trying to make people laugh. He acted so silly. Everything he did was funny. He danced, sang, walked and even talked funny. A liitle giggle turned into big laughs.
I recommend this book to everybody because it teaches us that we need laughter and that is an important lesson.
