Lost Star: the Story of Amelia Earhart

Do you want to hear about a person that set many flying records? Her name is Amelia Earhart. Here, let me tell you some things about her.

Amelia Earhart was brave and adventurous when she was young. When she got older she set a lot of records, such as being the first person to fly from Hawaii to California. She was also the first person to solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She set an altitude record but it got broken later on. My favorite record was her speed record of 181mph. That was fast. Amelia tried to fly around the world but failed when her plane crashed on the runway. On the second attempt Amelia and Fred, her co-pilot, got started and took off. Near the end of the trip they got lost and were never found.

I thought it was a good book because she set a lot of records and she was adventurous. It reminds me of one of my friends, Chris, because he reads a lot of books like she did when she was young. I think it was pretty hard for Amelia when she was young because she moved all the time. Amelia Earhart kind of reminds me of myself because I am competative and adventurous.

I think this book is all right for people who like biographies. Another thing, people who like planes or record-setters would like this book. Well, that is my review, I thought it was a very good book. You should read it sometime. See ya.
