Mr. Popper's Penguins

I think that Mr. Popper's Penguins is a good book to read. Now this what the book is all about. Mr. Popper is a Still Waters painter and a decorator. Then one sunny morning the mail man came and asked, "Are you Mr. Popper?" "Well yes I am." "I have a very special package for you." Then Mr. Popper opens the box. A penguin jumps out of the box and scares Mr. Popper. Then Mr. Popper reads the note. "To Mr. Popper: Here is a penguin for you." From Admiral Drake. Before Mrs. Popper and the children came home Mr. Popper had put the penguin in the bath tub. When the children went into the bathroom they saw the penguin. They had asked their father if they could name him Captain Cook. As the days went by another penguin came. They named her Greta. To find out if there were anymore penguins that had came along you have to read Mr. Popper's Penguins.

I think this book is a very good book for children because it's a funny book to read. I felt like I was in the book because the book was interesting. Nelson and Culmbus reminds me of my sisters Veronica and Alexis because they are always fighting like Culmbus and Nelson.

I would recommend this book to Mabel M. that likes funny books like this book. My favorite part is when Captain Cook scared the service man away. I think the illustrations that go with the book are probably hard to draw. I recommended this book to any person that likes a very funny story like Mr. Popper's Penguins. Please read this book. It's a funny book to read.
