The Revenge of the Baby-Sat

This story is really funny. It is about a boy named Calvin who is very naughty and steals his babysitter’s homework. He pretends to flush it down the toilet! He has a sidekick named Hobbes. Read this book to find out if Calvin gets in trouble.

This book reminds me of Horton Hears a Who because both books have a part where a character takes something from someone else. Bill Watterson is a really good author. The book contains ten stories. Revenge of the Baby-Sat is in the middle of the book. My favorite part is when Calvin pretends to flush his babysitter’s homework down the toilet because it was really funny. This book reminds me of when my little sister flushed my mom’s watch down the toilet. As I read this book, it taught me a lesson. It taught me that people should be honest if they make a mistake.

I recommend this book to kids in grades two to eight. People who like funny stories will like this book. If you like reading about characters that are naughty and enjoy talking tigers, then this is a good book for you.
